Unhindr develops wearable devices in close collaboration with patients, combining AI with robotics and microfluidics. The developed tool, Roliner, adjusts to the wishes and needs of the wearer throughout the day and uses an algorithm to accomplish this. Roliner can help people with an amputation walk longer and the technology can ultimately reduce the frequency of required visits to the medical specialist. This is pleasant for the patient, and it reduces healthcare costs. Unhindr plans to collaborate with a German university to continue the clinical development of Roliner.
