ReMIND

Nell project

ReMIND is an app used to treat cognitive problems such as forgetfulness and issues with concentra-tion, that arise after treating a brain tumour. The app provides the patient with information about how concentration, memory and planning work in the brain, and teaches the patient how to deal with related problems. The app also offers concentration training. The app is based on a successful cognitive rehabilitation program and is being developed by NeLL researcher Karin Gehring, in cooperation with the Elisabeth-TweeSteden hospital and Tilburg University. By transforming this cognitive rehabilitation program into an iPad app, it can be made available to a much larger group of patients. The app is still in development and is currently being tested in clinical trials in three Dutch hospitals.
