Precise Bio

The regenerative medicine firm Precise Bio has developed a fully 3D-bioprinted cornea. A cornea is a thin layer of cells in the human eye that is essential to vision. The Precise Bio cornea has been successfully tested, and the first clinical trials are soon to begin. If all goes well, this innovative implant will open new perspectives for many people: currently only one donor cornea is available for every seventy that are needed worldwide.
