Researcher at Purdue University in the United States have developed “smart stickers” that continuously collect health information from a wearer. They measure heart rate, body temperature and electrical muscle activity, relaying the data to another device. The wearer (or a health professional) receives a message whenever one such parameter exceeds a defined threshold.
