Zingbox IoT Guardian facilitates health care institutions in the management and maintenance of their complex networks of medical devices which are interactively connected (often via the internet). The application employs smart algorithms to uncover patterns in cyberattacks and to detect malware in infected devices. The algorithm is capable of recognising irregularities in the behaviour of each separate device. This protective application does not itself form a privacy risk, as it processes no patient data. It confines itself to examining patterns in incoming and outgoing data in the networked devices.
