VitalPatch is a flexible biosensor that resembles a sticking plaster a few millimetres thick. Once affixed to a wearer’s chest, VitalPatch collects a wealth of information. Besides simple electrocardiogram readings, it measures vital signs including temperature, heart rate, body posture, respiration rate, physical activity and heart rate variability. It can even detect falls. All such information is transmitted to the accompanying VistaTablet, enabling patient monitoring from a distance.
