StethoMe

StethoMe is a digital stethoscope that people can use at home. The goal is to let users use the stethoscope and interpret the results themselves. The wireless stethoscope uses an app to show where on the body to place the device in order to listen to the lungs. A recording is then made, which is analysed using Artificial Intelligence. After the analysis, the app shows you what the results are of the recording and what would be a logical next step in order to reach a diagnosis. This way, the patient can test the lungs from home. If necessary, a healthcare professional can still be consulted. This creates accessibility and prevents unnecessary doctor’s visits.
