The Sensory Reality Pod from the Sensiks company is an experience cabin in which virtual reality is employed in synchrony with air currents, scents, vibrations, flavours and light frequencies. The cabin is linked up to pulse and breathing sensors, enabling users to alter their environment through their respiration. The goal is to relieve patients of stressful feelings. Sensory Reality Pods have already been implemented in several Dutch health care facilities.
