PROllator

The PROllator is a smart rollator for prevention of rollator- related accidents. The rollator has sensors that register the distance between the user and the rollator. As soon as a user is walking too far behind their rollator, the rollator automatically brakes. A preferred distance can be set using a dial. People who have rheumatism, for example, naturally walk further behind their rollator than someone with a muscle disorder. The advantage of the PROllator is that less accidents happen to users of rollators, without them having to do anything extra. This improves the patient experience and also prevents healthcare expenses after possible accidents.
