piBo

piBo is a small, moving social robot. This robot offers support in maintaining daily structure. This can help people with dementia, non-congenital brain damage, or reminds people of their next planned appointment. The robot can also read out incoming messages. Moving is good for the brain and slows the development of dementia. This is why piBo can also play music the user likes. piBo helps many users with structure, but also combats forgetfulness, malnutrition, dehydration, loneliness and unrest. In doing so, it helps set up a better daily rhythm, increases autonomy, and ensures living at home for longer is possible. The robot can walk around the house and is easy to use through a clear app.
