The glasses use a camera to convert the sight into electrical signals. These signals are sent to an implant in the skull via the sides of the glasses. The implant receives the glasses’ signals and in turn sends signals to the correct locations in the brain. The glasses allow people with visual impairments to see light and depth again. The implant is powered by the glasses. This ensures the implant doesn’t need to be replaced.
