The MusicGlove is a hand-worn device outfitted with sensors that enables users to carry out fine motor tasks while playing computer games. The glove was designed from the outset as a medical device to train patients in rehabilitation. In the aftermath of a stroke or other health event, many patients have difficulty in using their hand properly and must do all sorts of repetitive exercises. The boredom that ensues is not conducive to treatment adherence. The MusicGlove enables
them to virtually play a guitar or comparable games reminiscent of Guitar Hero.
