Satcher Health Leadership Institute launched a health equity tracker platform to draw attention to health inequities between various groups. Google will be incorporating other determinants and countries into the tracker in the future, allowing for health inequities that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic, for example, to be analysed as well. The aim of the tracker is to help policy makers and world leaders with an informative tool that displays health inequity visually and detects problem areas. This allows policy makers to implement targeted changes in their politics and reduce inequities.
