CityHawk

What else is at play?

Early 2021, Urban Aeronautics announced the sales of the first four CitHawks to a non-profit organisation for emergency transport of medical equipment. Flying ambulances are not a new phenomenon: around 550,000 Americans receive help from these vehicles every year. But the CityHawk adds new, innovative functions to the playing field. The CityHawk is light but has a large cabin. This allows the vehicle to transport two ambulances, the patient with their escort and medical equipment. In addition, the vehicle is jet-powered and is able to land on small surfaces. It will be a few years before CityHawks can be seen flying around, but the futuristic vehicle is set to reduce the loss of life.
