Brolis Sensor Technology is developing a wearable, consisting of sensors to measure the concentration of several blood elements. The sensors measure glucose, ketones, lactate, urea and ethanol. As a consequence, the wearable can be used by a large group of people: whether it concerns an athlete who wants to track performance or a diabetes patient who needs to monitor blood sugar levels. The technology is also user-friendly and noninvasive, since it uses infra-red to listen to rotational movements of molecules. As a result, users do not have to draw blood to find out their values.
