BioBeat Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring

BioBeat launched a new aid, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), that can measure a patient’s blood pressure any time of the day without an upper arm meter. Patients wear a disposable monitor on their chest and the technique eliminates the need for a healthcare provider to get a real-time picture of the patient’s situation. The ABPM submits all data to the patient via an app and their healthcare professional has access to a digital report. This allows both the patient and the healthcare professional to view heart function data and intervene if necessary. Ultimately, BioBeat hopes to reduce the number of heart failure fatalities.
