Bambi Belt

The Bambi Belt is a small, flexible belt that is wrapped around the chest of a prematurely born baby to track vital signs. The belt offers a substitute for the many electrodes normally used to collect such data. Its non-adherent texture spares the babies the pain and stress that can arise from electrodes. Its wireless nature facilitates skin-to-skin contact between baby and parents. The data is transmitted wirelessly to a receiver and displayed on a monitor.
