The Altoida-app offers several cognitive tests in the shape of a game, played on a tablet. The app uses this to predict the risk of developing dementia or Alzheimer. Using an acceleration meter, gyroscope, the touch-screen sensors, and Artificial Intelligence, it can determine whether there are small abnormalities in the cognition of the player. These abnormalities in cognition are used to predict the risk for developing dementia or Alzheimer. Because the app can be played on a tablet, a hospital visit isn’t always necessary because it’s easy to use at home.
